Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads

Happy Tuesday! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl, focuses on Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads. My TBR pile is extensive and I think it would be fun to predict which ones will garner five stars. I think I’m going to narrow my selection down to books that are being released in 2020.

I enjoyed the Heroines Behind the Lines series because it highlighted four angles of the American Civil War. I really have high expectations for Veiled in Smoke because it is set during the 1871 Great Chicago Fire. I can’t wait to get to this book.

I love books based on World War II so . . . every book Sarah Sundin writes grabs my attention. It’s a given. I’m looking forward to reading The Land Beneath Us, but I need to read the first two books of the series first.

A Regency mystery. Need I say more?

Anything written by Jody Hedlund is a must-read. I have no doubt that The Runaway Bride will be a five-star read. I love how Hedlund combines fiction with reality to make each book a captivating one.

Anything written by Jen Turano is a must-read. She knows how to incorporate comedy into her books and the Gilded Age is one of my favorite historical periods.

I love Regency mysteries. The book blurb alone deserves five stars. I can’t wait to read the latest book by Michelle Griep.

I love the book cover and the book blurb alone deserves five stars. The Socialite has been on my radar and I can’t wait to read it.

I’ve only discovered Judith Miller’s work. However, I do believe that this will be an interesting historical romance based on the book blurb.

Anything written by Elizabeth Camden is a must-read. Each of Camden’s books is masterfully researched and highlights the Gilded Age in unique ways. A Gilded Lady deserves more than five-stars.

Karen Witemeyer is one of my favorite authors. Also, I LOVE the cover. June can’t come soon enough.

What are some books you think you’ll rate 5-stars?
